IDEAS

Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessbility & Social Justice

It all starts with these 5 things.

Are we looking through the IDEAS lens when thinking about

social/emotional health, curriciulum, instruction, best practices?

If not, we need to start here.

We are a neuro-affirming and culturally responsive small business located on Bainbridge Island in the State of Washington, just across the water from Seattle.

We agree to respect intersectionality.

We are anti-racist, ant-colonialism, anti-ableism.

For far too long racism, colonialism, and ableism have intersected and oppressed so many people in our world.

This exclusion is particularly evident with neurodivergent people.

If we don’t recognize intersectionality we are erasing aspects of a persons identity and upholding harmful ideals.

Instead, at Neurodivergent Bridges, we are creating spaces that accept authentic, neurodivergent identity.

We listen and speak with neurodivergent youth, teens, adults, and their families to develop culturally responsive support tools.
