PDA Resources
Over the past few years I have been on a journey learning from some of the best out there about PDA so that I could transform what I have known in the past to something better in the present and future. I am sharing just a little about what I have learned hoping that you will join me in this transformation together so we can better support PDAers at home, in school or the workplace and in the community.
Big Picture
Build a relationship first.
Build trust. They need to know they can rely on you.
If they feel they have autonomy, their anxiety will go down.
If anxiety is lowered, they can tolerate demands.
