Join us for a sensory friendly viewing of BORDERLANDS (PG-13) at Bainbridge Cinemas on Bainbridge Island Thursday, August 22nd @ 3:00pm.
Cost: $12- Venmo me @Shea-Kennedy21 beforehand or pay to the cashier (cash, credit or debit) on the day of the event. If you don’t have Venmo you can drop off a check to me beforehand. It’s more important to register to save your place than to pay ahead of time.
Seats will be limited to 50 people! The first 50 people to REGISTER BELOW will be prioritized. This is a private showing so once this fills up then it will be closed off.
Sensory Friendly means:
Lights will be on- but turned down low. No need to fear the dark…we will have glow sticks too!
Able to move freely throughout the movie. If you like to pace, can’t sit still and prefer to bounce or dance, or maybe need to pop out and in of the movie for breaks you are free to do so, without judgement, and in fact will be encouraged to do so!
Volume will be turned down lower so it won’t be so jarring to the system!
BYO (Bring your own) fidgets and headphones. There will be some available to borrow for those that arrive without any. Though we are limited on what we can lend out so we encourage you to pack a bag or two with all the things that help bring you comfort- a blanket, Squishmallow, fidgets, squishy seat, Camelbak bite & suck water bottle, chewlery, snacks for those that prefer same/safe foods, headphones, earplugs/Loops/earbuds, hoodies, etc. If you are unsure please email me to ask for specifics but most things would be ok.
